Why He’s Hot:

  1. Look at that face. No, seriously, look at it. See that adorable grin? Are your panties still on? I don’t think you’re looking hard enough.

  2. He’s got absofuckinglutely gorgeous eyes. Can you imagine looking into those eyes after a night of passionate lovemaking? Or better yet, DURING said night? …Are your ovaries still intact?

  3. Have you heard this motherfucker sing? “Do you want to fuck/Like you know I do?” Oh god yes. Panties on the floor? Check.

  4. He’s got style. The man rocks a white suit, and neon plastic sunglasses like nobody’s goddamn business. On top of that, there’s his apartment. (Just ignore his lucky bitch of a girlfriend.) Lots of records, plenty of dirty dishes character, and he keeps a pillow from his grandma. How cute is that?

  5. He graduated from Columbia University. Columbia fucking University. Got that? And he taught 8th grade English before making it big with Vampire Weekend. Talk about being hot for teacher. He’s sexy, silly, charming, and smart. What more could you want?

From here.

I don't know about you all, but I'd say he's a total dreamboat.Collapse )

Sartorial inspiration from the band that made polo shirts cool again.

Who gives a fuck about an oxford comma?

Enough people to make Vampire Weekend more than just a blog buzz-band.

Now two albums in (Contra, their second record, came out this week), the New York City foursome haven’t just invaded our iPods—they’ve also influenced they way we dress.

Whether it’s classic polo tees, sun-faded sweaters, or canvas backpacks, it’s a vibe that works as well in the library as it does in the hazy California sun (under which the band recorded Contra).

So yeah, we’ll give a fuck—about the comma, the band, and your outfit. Just don’t forget to wash it all down with a tall glass of horchata...

1. Alexandra Cassaniti Stripe Convertible Tote- $180
2. Ralph Lauren Classic-Fit Polo - $75
3. Deena & Ozzy Two Tone Oxford - $38
4. Alexander Wang Nautical Frill Pullover - $425
5. Patyka Parfum Hesperide Cabochon - $98
6. Levi's 501 Boyfriend Cut Jeans - $79.50
7. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 - $22.50
8. Vampire Weekend Contra - $13.99

From here.

I'm finding this way funnier than I should be, considering that I'm currently wearing Jack Purcells and have at least three pairs of boat shoes from the time in high school when Brandon Flowers was my style icon.

Be as ridiculous as you want, but don't be a douche. Use an LJ cut for large posts. You know the drill. Oxford commas optional.
